Torque Wheel Sensors

The 1500 Series Torque Wheel Sensors are ideal for use in vehicle testing and data acquisition!

  • Measure torque load characteristics of light, mid-size, and heavy trucks
  • High accuracy and sensitivity with durable and rugged design

The 1500 Series of Torque Wheel Sensors is designed for use on light duty trucks. The weight and polar moment of inertia are comparable to standard steel wheel rims. These sensors can be used on vehicles such as the Ford F150, the Chevrolet CK Series, or the Dodge RAM as well as on such vehicles as the Ford Explorer, Chevrolet Blazer, and the Dodge Durango. A proprietary and advanced sensor section is both rugged and sensitive. It can accept extreme load inputs during the most demanding road surface or braking tests yet it also has high measurement resolution and sensitivity.
