RS Technologies is pleased to offer and exciting series of Training Seminars at its Technical Training Center in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Each of the three sessions is devoted to a particular product group or topic:

- LabMaster and FastLab Test Equipment

- Fastener Technology, "The Magic of M-Alpha"

- SR1, the Bolted Joint and Analysis Software

We cordially invite you, as a fastener industry professional, to attend one or all of these training programs. Each full day session will be conducted by select members of the Technical Sales and Service Staff of RS Technologies, including Ralph Shoberg, President and Technical Director. Seating is limited, so be sure to register early!

FastLab and LabMaster Training Session

RS Technologies is pleased to offer training sessions on the use of the LabMaster system. As a purchaser of a FastLab or LabMaster test system, you are cordially invited to attend this worthwhile training session. This full day session will be conducted by the Technical Sales and Service Staff of RS Technologies

The LabMaster training program covers the following subjects:

· An overview of current software level
· Installation and setup
· Basic torque-tension testing
· Locknut testing
· Advanced analysis features
· Hands-on testing
· Questions and answer session


Fastener Technology "The Magic of M-Alpha"

This presentation is devoted to the theory and practice of determining the effectiveness of critical bolted joints. With an emphasis on the practical application of fastener technology, the program thoroughly examines the assembly and audit methods that best determine joint integrity.

The Fastener Technology "The Magic of M-Alpha" Program covers the following subjects:

· An overview of the current analysis techniques
· Review of basic fastener engineering considerations
· Review of audit methods
· M-Alpha theory and application
· Hands-on testing

 

SR1 Software Training Session

If you are a user of SR1, the Bolted Joint Stress Calculation software based on VDI 2230, this training program provides insight into how to use SR1.

The SR1 training program covers the following subjects:

· An overview of the VDI 2230 standard
· Enhancements to VDI provided by SR1
· Setup, installation, and product registration
· Basic joint modeling
· Upgrades
