Company Background

Founded in 1991, the roots of RS Technologies run back to the late 1960s when Ralph Shoberg manufactured the first practical rotary torque transducer that could measure torque as it was being to the fastener right on the assembly line. Over the years Mr. Shoberg has received dozens of patents for torque and force measurement devices used in power tools, weigh scales, and fastener analysis equipment. His pioneering work in developing wheel force transducers has garnered numerous awards.
