Passenger Car/Light SUV (WFT-MP-AL, WFT-PC-TI)

These WFTs are designed for use on small passenger cars and light-weight SUVs. Identical in size, they come in two capacities as detailed in the table below. The rugged single-piece transducer design provides high accuracy and superior performance in a durable water-resistant package. Theses sensors can be fit with slip-ring or telemetry signal transmission. With on-board signal conditioning and calibration circuitry for each channel of data measurement, their setup and use with the MOPS-TIU interface package can be accomplished in a few minutes per wheel. The MOPS-TIU can be used as a standalone data acquisition package or can be used to interface to existing data acquisition systems.

The WFT-MP-AL can measure loads up to 30 kN (6,700 lbs) and 5.6 kNm (50,000 lb-in); the WFT-PC-TI can measure loads up to 45 kN (10,000 Lbs.) and 8.4 kNm (74,300 Lb-In). They mount to the vehicle hub via a custom hub adapter and accept modified rims mounting standard vehicle tires.
