Medium Truck (WFT-MT-AL, WFT-MT-HD)

These WFTs are designed for use on medium duty trucks and laarge SUVs or off road vehicles. The rugged single-piece transducer provides high accuracy and superior performance in a durable water-resistant package. The flexure is designed for either a single front mounting or a rear tandem mounting. They can be fit with slip-ring or telemetry signal transmission. With on-board signal conditioning and calibration circuitry for each channel of data measurement, their setup and use with the MOPS-TIU interface package can be accomplished in a few minutes per wheel. The MOPS-TIU can be used as a standalone data acquisition package or can be used to interface to existing data acquisition systems.

The WFT-MT come in two types, WFT-MT-AL for loads up to 40 kN (9,000 Lbs.) and 6.5 kNm (60,000 Lb-In), and a heavy-duty unit WFT-MT-HD for loads up to 60 kN (13,500 Lbf) and 10 kNm (88,000 Lb-In). They mount to the vehicle hub via a custom hub adapter and accept modified rims mounting standard sized tires.
