Heavy Truck (WFT-HT-USA, WFT-HT-EURO, WFT-HT-SSU)
- These WFTs are designed for use on heavy trucks, semi-trucks and trailers, schoolbus chassis, etc.
- The
rugged one-piece transducer provides high accuracy and
superior performance in a durable water-resistant package!
- Smooth clean exterior with no dangling wires and numerous bolts holding several components together
- The
WFT-HT-USA flexure can be mounted as a single front, single rear, rear
tandem, or with the new Super-Single tire!
They can be fit with slip-ring or telemetry signal transmission. With on-board signal conditioning and calibration circuitry for each channel of data measurement, their setup and use with the MOPS-TIU interface package can be accomplished in a few minutes per wheel. The MOPS-TIU can be used as a standalone data acquisition package or can be used to interface to existing data acquisition systems.
The WFT-HT comes in three types, WFT-HT-USA that fits 11.25 X 10 M22 bolt patterns for heavy trucks trucks in the US, the WFT- HT-EURO that fits 335 X 10 M22 bolt patterns for European heavy trucks, and the WFT-HT-SSU for use with European Super-Single trucks tires. All WFTs can take loads up to 140 kN (31,500 Lbs.) and 30 kNm (265,000 Lb-In). There are titanium flexures available at extra cost to accommodate loads up to 220 kN (49,000 Lbf) and 50 kNm (442,000 Lb-In).
All heavy truck WFT mount directly to the vehicle hub and accept modified rims mounting standard sized tires such as 19.50 x 8.25.
